Exceptional

Amillia was born in October at 21 6/7 weeks gestation. I heard this story on NPR last night. This is truly the very definition of exceptional. Babies born before 24 weeks gestation have a less than 1% chance of survival. And survival doesn't mean whole and healthy and normal. Evidently, this child survived with her brain intact, which is stunning. She is going home this week. Read more about Amillia here.
