Making up for lost time...

Here's a bunch of pictures from life in the Cerneka household these last 6 or so weeks.
Mommy and Madeleine self-portrait
Being my chill little boy.

Being cute and girly.
Reading together on the Dora couch. This was completely spontaneous.
The Liberty reaches 100 Grand.
Our first snowman!
Some perspective on the actual size of our first snowman.

Noah doesn't do it near as often as Madeleine did, but every once in a while, we'll catch him falling asleep in the highchair at dinner.
Making Valentines for her preschool friends.
Miss Sherri's Valentine
Ready for Preschool on Valentine's Day
Yes, that is a third of a role of masking tape my daughter wrapped around her torso.

I'm certain he's brilliant.
My little Cheese It thief, enjoying the spoils of grabbing a box off the counter when Mommy's not looking.
Madeleine and Granpa at Bonkers.
Noah climbing through the kitchen cart. He started at one end and climbed through to the other side.
About as terrible an idea as Bag O'Glass. Madeleine designed this fabulous burlap and floral wire handbag out of objects she found in her toybox and my craft closet. (Sorry it's sideways)

Madeleine's Lens

Madeleine loves to grab the camera and start snapping pictures. Granpa actually gave her her very own preschooler's digital camera for Christmas. Pics from that are on their way, but here are some she's taken with my camera. The first one we took together, I held it steady and centered and she released the shutter. The rest are all her. The two close-ups of herself were taken when she held it backwards, as she often does.

2007, We Hardly Knew Ye

The end of 2007 marks the end of our first full year as a family of four, and we had a blast. We went on many many adventures throughout the year and have been privilaged to share them with you, our wonderful family and friends.

Oddwalk signed with GIA and recorded "Walk Away Different".

Noah took his first steps and said his first words.

Madeleine started preschool.

I started Little Star Creations.

Shannon and I continued to work at our respective jobs, and grow in wisdom and confidence in ourselves and our abilities as professionals.

The kids grew in size and beauty and have challenged us to become better parents, and better people. We are amazed that we get to be their parents. They are our delight.

Here are pictures from our life together, 2007.
